What is Poprey?

When you go to poprey.com, their official website, you’ll see something like this:

 A picture of Poprey’s website.

You’ll notice that there isn’t much information about the company itself on the site, so we had to spend a lot of time looking for those details elsewhere.

We found that Poprey is a service that provides features for a variety of social media networks: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify, and TikTok.

Because Instagram is our main topic, we’ll primarily discuss those features. Followers, likes, comments, auto-likes, and views are all part of Poprey’s Instagram service.

The website is not that great. For starters, it doesn’t really have a homepage. Instead, you’re instantly directed to the likes packages. It’s simply all over the place and it’s kind of confusing.

This is a huge downside, especially for an online company that works with social media networks where aesthetics play a huge role.

We will dissect every part of this service separately shortly, but before we do that, let’s see how Poprey works.

Getting started with Poprey

If you wish to buy Instagram followers from Poprey, you will have to go to the Followers section of their site. There, you’ll be greeted with various packages.

Poprey claims to separate followers into “Normal” and “Premium,” but you don’t really have the option to choose between the two.

Every deal displays only the number of followers and the price, and that’s it. You don’t know what kind of followers you’ll get.

Once you choose the desired amount, you will have to provide them with your Instagram username, email address, and password (red alarm) if you want to continue to the checkout.

At checkout, you can choose the payment option from the following: credit card (MasterCard, Visa) or PayPal.

Poprey for Instagram

Poprey sells a variety of Instagram features. How great are they, though?

Instagram followers

Poprey’s packages for Instagram followers.

One thing is certain: Poprey’s followers are among the most affordable of all. But is this a good thing or not?

No, no, and no. High-quality followers don’t have to be expensive, and in many instances with premium prices, you’re paying for the brand instead of the followers. But they also don’t come that cheap.

Poprey, we believe, uses inexpensive rates to entice clients before duping them with fake followers. It’s highly unlikely that 10,000 genuine followers can be purchased for only 67 dollars.

As you’ll see in a moment, our instincts are right.

Instagram removes followers acquired through Poprey, which indicates one thing – they are fake.

We mentioned earlier that Poprey allegedly categorizes their followers into “Normal” and “Premium.”

There are a few distinct characteristics – normal followers are supposed to start arriving to your profile in 12 hours after purchase, and there is no guarantee with them. Premium followers will begin arriving instantly, and you get a 30-day guarantee.

They don’t say what kind of guarantee, though. Is it a money-back guarantee or will they refill the followers that don’t arrive or get removed? We don’t know.

It doesn’t matter because there is no way to choose between these two. They don’t have separate packages for the two types of followers, and nowhere can you actually select your preferred type.

Other features

Since other Instagram features aren’t as important as followers, we’ll tell you the basics, and if you’re particularly interested in some of them, try contacting Poprey to gain more info, since their website lacks information, and client reviews aren’t of much help here either.

These are Poprey’s likes packages:

Poprey’s plans for Instagram likes.

They don’t say anything about where the likes originate from, whether or not they can be divided between multiple pictures, or anything else.

They also sell auto likes, views, and comments. Virtually no reviews speak about these features and their quality, so we can’t tell you much about it. It’s not as if they really matter anyway.

These are all the things you will get when purchasing real followers, so there’s no need to spend your money on them.

Poprey also had another, now deceased, an Instagram feature called Poprey hashtags. The point of it was to find optimal hashtags based on keywords of your choice. This tool never really worked at all, so it doesn’t make a difference whether it’s gone or not.

Free trials

Poprey does have something many similar companies don’t – a free trial. Admittedly, it’s not much, but they at least offer to let you test the service for free.

This is what it includes:

  • 10 free followers
  • 25 free likes

Clients have a lot to say about Poprey…

Ex-customer testimonials are there to forewarn us – don’t use Poprey. Why? Well, the list is long.

The Trustpilot Poprey page is rather intriguing. The service has a mediocre 2.5-star rating. There are a few positive reviews, but they don’t appear to be genuine, to be honest.

At first glimpse, this positive review appears genuine, but after reading the rest, you realize it’s most likely a fake story.

Here’s an example of a disgruntled client and his bad experience with Poprey, so you can compare the two:

After browsing all of the Poprey reviews, we were hesitant to give it a shot, especially after reading this one review in which a former client says Poprey attempted to hack their email:

There is no reason to question this allegation, given that Poprey is mentioned in 90% of evaluations with a bad overtone.

Poprey, on top of everything, demands your Instagram password. If they tried to hack your Instagram account, we wouldn’t be surprised.

Your password should never be requested by a reputable Instagram growth service. It’s pointless because all they require is your username to provide the followers (unless there’s something illegal going on).

There’s also an abundance of comments that claim Poprey sells fake followers.

This is only one of many. The same goes for likes. For instance:

Poprey either doesn’t deliver the likes at all, or they come in lower amounts than the ones you paid for, according to the reviews.

You would think this is where it ends, but the list goes on.

Next on agenda is Poprey’s customer support.

Poprey promises 24/7 customer support in the form of a live chat, and they do deliver on this, that’s not the issue. The problem is of far more serious magnitude.

Consider what this customer says about Poprey’s customer support:

A picture depicting a bad Poprey review on Trustpilot.

The customer support team disrespects customers!

And this isn’t the only instance. Numerous consumers have complained about Poprey’s harsh customer service. It’s been described as “the epitome of unprofessionalism,” and we couldn’t concur more.

All of this begged the question: Is Poprey legit?

And the answer is a resounding no.

Is Poprey safe?

Poprey is NOT SAFE TO USE.

As we looked for Poprey reviews online, those with a negative sentiment just kept coming. It was virtually impossible to find a single positive aspect of Poprey towards the end.

Conclusion

Poprey is the definition of a scam. They hack your email, jeopardize your account, and openly insult you. It’s most definitely not safe to use, so we recommend you skip it entirely.

How this company is still in business is beyond us.
