There are many reasons to save a draft on Instagram.
First, you might be interrupted in the middle of posting. This tool ensures you don’t lose your hard work so far. You can return to it later!
Second, you might not be sure about what to post so you save a few ideas first.
Third, which is a good tip if you post a lot on Instagram, you can line up a few posts to save time. For example, if you post every day, but know you are going to be too busy to invest time into creating a good caption and a pretty edit, you can line up a few posts when you’re free one evening. Therefore, you’re sorted going forward into your week ahead!

How To Save A Draft On Instagram
We’ll show the six easy steps on how to save a draft on Instagram.
First, open the Instagram app and click the post symbol in the middle bottom of the app.
Next, choose which picture you’re going to post. Click next.
If you’re going to make any in-app edits, now is the time to do so! Once you’re finished, click next.
Now, you write a caption, tag people, add a location, share to other social medias, as you would usually do.
Instead of clicking Share, as you would normally do, you’re going to click the back arrow in the top left. This will take you back through every stage you just went through until you get the option to Save Draft.
Of course, click Save Draft. Now, your draft will appear in its own album when you open up the posting page on Instagram!
It’s really that easy to save a draft on Instagram! Any time you open the app, your drafts will be there until you post them.
How To Post A Saved Draft On Instagram
When you’re ready to post your drafts, open up the posting page as normal.
You’ll see your drafts in the first row of photos. Click the select image and ‘Next’.
It will take you to where you left off. You have already edited the image, caption, location and tagged people.
All you need to do is post it to your account! However, if you wish to edit any aspect of the image, just click ‘Edit’ underneath the thumbnail for the photo. This will take you back to the photo editing page.
When you’re ready, click Share and the photo will appear in your feed where your followers can interact with it!
